Hot n Cold pt. 1

Today is Friday and it is raining. Enough reason to question me once again if cold or warm weather is better. As a person who comes from the coastal region of the country, I can say that I adapt well to hot days. In the neighbourhood where I used to live, it was common to see people wearing baggy clothes, shorts and sandals. This reality contrasted with what I was able to experience during the time I lived in the capital of my country, where the temperature tends to be much lower. There, people commonly complement their outfits with coats, leather jackets, scarves, among other garments in order to stay warm.

As a child, I never imagined myself living in such cold places; but eventually, I had to do so. Per se, the cold weather is not so bad at least not in that city. I've heard that other places on the planet are freezing, so I doubt I'd stay there too long as someone who appreciates a little more atmospheric balance.

In any case, I think that the amount of time you spend in a place forces you to get used to it and consequently its climatic conditions. Currently, the city I live in is now in the middle of two large regions: Costa and Sierra (Coast and Highlands). Although it is more coastal than mountainous, its climate is considerably influenced by the latter one. To illustrate, there are some times when in other areas of the coast it does not rain, but here it does. Occasionally, these rainfalls are heavy, sometimes they are slight. You actually never know how it will turn out to be. To be honest, I have no problem with the rain, but I do have a problem with the fact that it happens so frequently these days that it is almost impossible for me to feel the sun's rays. Anyway, that is what it is, so I just try to get the best of both sorts of weather.

Tell me, which one do you prefer?
